We have enabled the Live Transcription feature in Zoom for all Swarthmore users. Because of these limitations, if you are required to use speech-to-text support for any compliance needs in your meetings and webinars, we recommend using a human captioner who may be able to guarantee specific accuracy. However, there There is no harm in enabling live transcription offering automated captioning even if there is no compliance need as many may find it helpful (e.g. working in a noisy area, needing to turn sound off).

Host must enable

To enable, the host of the meeting must

  1. Click Live Transcript and
  2. Select Enable Auto-Transcription.
