Screen Capture, Recording, and Editing

The College has acquired licenses for two tools that are designed for screen capture and recording (Snagit), one of which (Camtasia) is also an easy tool for editing captured content and making it into presentations for your students. While faculty will need to contact ITS for an installation of one of these tools, they are both fairly easy to use, and quick to learn, but still quite powerful.

For simple Screen Capture & Recording: Snagit

Tutorials for Snagit can be found here: https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-snagit.html

For more advanced Screen Capture, Recording and Editing of a video (including captioning): Camtasia

Tutorials for Camtasia can be found at this site: https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-camtasia.html
