Posit Cloud is a web-based version of the RStudio software.

Access
Posit Cloud has a free tier available for personal use. For class use, faculty are set up with a “Cloud Instructor” license and students are added to the class.
Faculty
Contact ITS to request an instructor account. Each course will be set up with a separate Posit Cloud space to add students, create assignments, and share files.

Students
Your professor will share a class link for access to the paid version of Posit Cloud. Once your class is complete, you can continue to use the free version of Posit Cloud with your Swarthmore account.
