Installation Instructions

1. Download the appropriate installer and license file to your desktop.

2. Double click the JMP installer file.

3. Install updated license file.

After download, update expired JMP license per instructions below.

Mac

During install, you may need to "allow" by clicking OK when prompted AND Open under the General tab in the Security & Privacy preference pane, located in System Preferences.

After download, update expired JMP license per instructions below.

Update License File

If your JMP license is past your expiration date, the first screen you see at JMP launch is a message that your JMP license is expired.

1. Download the JMP License file.

2. Click Open License.

3. At the prompt, navigate to where you saved the JMP.PER file in Step 1.

4. Click Open.

5. Enter an Administrator Name: Swarthmore College and Department: ITS

6. Click OK.

If your JMP license has not expired, you must start the renewal process manually.

1. Download the JMP License file.

2. From the File menu, select New > Script to open a script window.

3. Enter this line: renew license();

4. From the Edit menu, select Run Script.

5. In the resulting Renew Your JMP License window, click Open License.

6. At the prompt, navigate to where you saved the JMP.PER file in Step 1.

7. Click Open.

8. Enter an Administrator Name: Swarthmore College and Department: ITS

9. Click OK.
