Installation Instructions
To install Stata, double click the Stata installer file and follow the on screen instructions. At the "Select Executables" screen be sure to select 32-bit or 64-bit IC, depending on whether your computer is 32 bit or 64 bit. Newer computers will be 64 bit.
Important Note for Windows Users
Once the installation is complete, before launching Stata, copy the Stata.LIC License File to C:\Program Files (x86)\Stata or C:\Program Files (x86)\Stata15 (depending on your Stata version). When prompted, replace the existing file.
KeyAccess is required to use this software. Users must be on-campus or connected to VPN when off campus.
