Importing Your Passwords Into Keeper
Importing a CSV file
Before starting the import process, you should have a CSV file already exported and saved locally on your computer. These instructions work for both your Swarthmore Keeper account and your personal Keeper family account.
Note: If you have an existing LastPass personal (family) account, you may wish to unlink that account from your Swarthmore account to prevent personal data from getting imported to your Swarthmore Keeper account.
Log into your Keeper account from a browser (not the browser extension) - keepersecurity.com/vault/
Click on your account name in the top-right corner of the window.
Choose “Settings” from the drop-down menu that appears
A settings popup window will appear.
On the left-hand side of the settings window, towards the bottom, click “Import”
A list of various password management services will appear. Pick the service you exported your passwords from. If your service is not listed, you can choose the “Text file (.csv)” option.
A window will appear to allow you to review a list of the records being imported - You can click Continue
When you click continue it will show you the folder structure of your records for review - You can click Continue
You will get a window that tells you that your import has been a success and that you can now delete the CSV file from your computer. Make sure to empty your trash can after you delete it!
Your passwords should now be available in Keeper!
