Creating Your Keeper Account

If you would like to take advantage of a Keeper password manager account to keep all of your work passwords secure and help create unique, strong passwords for all of your accounts - follow the simple process below!

On a laptop or desktop computer that is assigned to you/you own - not another person’s computer or a public computer (a computer lab or library computer):

  1. Open your preferred web browser and go to keepersecurity.com/vault

  2. Choose “Create an account

  3. Enter your full Swarthmore email address, i.e. test1@swarthmore.edu

  4. Choose “Next

  5. You will be redirected to the usual Swarthmore login page

  6. Enter your username and password and choose “Login

  7. Authenticate with DUO

  8. You will be redirected to your new Keeper vault

A pop-up will help walk you through setting up your account, including importing passwords. You can also check out our pages on exporting your passwords from LastPass and importing passwords into Keeper with a CSV file.
